Maroon & Gray Soirée
Friday, April 5th | 6:00pm | The John C. O'Brien Gymnasium Bishop Stang High School
We hope you join us on Friday, April 5th for our newly re-designed Maroon & Gray Soirée! While celebrating the legacy of Spartans past and present, we look to help propel the generation of Spartans to come.
Invitations will be sent out in the coming weeks, but should you like to get involved, contact Director of Advancement, Pamela Cook at [email protected]
In combining the Hall of Fame and Hall of Honors events, while keeping some elements of the Auction, we are excited to come together at "an evening celebrating Bishop Stang."
Why it matters:
The Maroon & Gray Soirée will not only be a night to gather at Bishop Stang to share the collective spirit of Spartans near and far but also a night to raise funds for the things that matter most, our students and educators.
One of our signature fundraising efforts is The Angel Fund. The Bishop Stang Angel Fund exists due to donations made by the generous supporters of the Spartan Village community, including our very own students. The Angel Fund provides temporary assistance to families who experience one of the following hardships:
- Death of a family member who supported tuition payments;
- Significant medical incident that presents a financial hardship;
- Loss of employment;
- Catastrophic damage to a place of residence due to a fire, flood, or act of nature.
The Angel Fund is limited and cannot be used to cover full tuition payments, which makes it a true emergency fund for families to rely on during a crisis and emergency. The funds provide temporary relief to a Bishop Stang family coping with one of the above situations. In order to qualify for assistance from the Angel Fund, families are encouraged to apply confidentially through the school. The Bishop Stang community is not only grateful, but so incredibly fortunate that such funding exists through the generosity of our own to allow families to rest easy knowing that their family is safe and secure when it comes to their students’ education.
